If this is a joke I am going to start killing people.
If this is a joke I am going to take my yacht to South America.
Protesting Snowmen of the Day: Four rabble-rousing snowmen were spotted outside the White House this past Sunday being down with this sort of thing.
Bring back Arrested Development, indeed!
Bloopers play an unusually large role in my life. Also known as “outtakes” or a “gag reel”, bloopers make me euphoric. Part of my penchant for bloopers comes from a traumatic experience I had in my tweens; I was probably in 7th grade and didn’t understand half of the references on “FRIENDS”, but was obsessed with the show. I also wore braces, shopped at Limited Too and read TeenPeople like a bible. Then one night NBC aired this “FRIENDS” celebration where Conan O’Brien hosted a talk with the cast and they showed bloopers instead of an episode. I taped it on a VHS and watched it over and over and loved it and laughed and memorized every nuance; it made me supremely happy! And then my little sister taped over it.
I remember the moment in which I found out she had taped over my show so vividly: I felt a rage grow inside of me that was more ferocious than anything I had ever felt before! I turned into a pre-teen-girl-werewolf, exploded all over the house, locked myself in my room and started writing in my journal!!!! TAKE THAT, WORLD!!! MY JOURNAL WILL HEAR OF THIS INJUTICE YOU HAVE SERVED ME!!!!
But, to my surprise, I did not write about being pissed at my sister. I did not write about being mad I lost the footage. All I could write about was how much I wanted to be in some bloopers. Not even the actual show, mind you; no, just the bloopers. I wanted to be a professional Blooper Actor. Images of Chandler and Rachel laughing so hard at Ross that they cried were burned into my mind and I WANTED IT! Well, obviously that didn’t happen, because that’s not a real thing. BUT, I do think that in that “FRIENDS”-induced pre-Twilight werewolf rage, I realized that a visceral part of me needed bloopers in my life. And now that I practice Improv as a religion, bloopers get to be an integral part of my worship process and are actually inspiring!
ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT Bloopers!!!!
To this very day, I watch blooper reels over and over and over!! I’ve included some of my favorites for you to watch… trust me. They fix any day that feels broken.

Jason Bateman is today’s punim because I saw him on Conan last night and he was great!!!! He is so funny and DTE (Down To Earth)… I wonder if he is also DTIV (Down To In-Vitro)? We’ll have to ask him some day. Also, he starred in Arrested Devel. We can’t not love a man who starred in Arrested Devel. Keep up the punim-ness, J. Bateman!!!
